I first shot this video for the Media Two blog Media Two Point {oh!}. They’ve been awesome enough to let me repost it here.

It’s getting colder, but the social media team at Media Two Interactive braved the 40 degree weather to film another #FollowFriday episode.

This week we decided to take over the elevators at the Empire Properties building in downtown Raleigh. The building is from 1907 when the Mason’s built Raleigh’s first steel reinforced skyscraper in North Carolina.

Phil’s followfriday recommendation this week was for his known favorite resaturant, The Pit BBQ. The Pit is more than just the best BBQ in the state, it’s also the savviest social media restaurant. Everyone from the hostess to the the GM makes you feel like you’re part of the family. In just over a year, their manager Eric Harris has taken them from a normal restaurant to an industry leader of how to leverage social media in the food service industry.

Stacey recommends you follow @rickcaffeinated. Rick Stilwell tweets content about a variety of topics, giving you a well-rounded sense of who he is. He offers sound advice, provides great original social media content, and has a pretty sweet Pandora Radio channel.
